A dirtbaggers video postcard of Squamish
A nicely produced video by Barn Door flicks shows a great slice of a summer in Squamish. The guy was originally planning to only stay a week but a car break down led to some fortuitous encounters with other climbers who became friends and a week turned into a month.
The video captures the climbing, slacklining and the common sight of being on the injury reserve list with crutches.
Watch: Getting out of Squampton (Vimeo not iphone or ipad compatible)
Anybody run into this crew?

Haha, that's so funny. I met these guys that day they filmed in the Magic Carpet Ride boulders. I had no idea they made this. Fun people. I even made it into the video!

Farkin Aussies....
Oli and Dan are bros from wayback...Krisha, Alon and Gabe are totally rad too, go say hello to them behind the rock fall at the Squaw car park.
I thought that was you Relic!
Funny story....so Alon has been camping at the rockfall for months and put his site up on couchsurfing.com....as a joke. It's just a few tents and some bits of wood for a couch. Anyway, he started getting replies and people started dropping in! It's couchsurfing in the purest form; great company....and fat joints.
