I tried that but since it's a page and not just a link to the actual image itself it won't work. I tried to steal the actual link from the source but it won't let me view it and also won't let me save the web page.. i guess i could dig it out of my temporary files but that just seemed like way to much work.

Can you get to the actual image without all the dropbox borders??

It seems not. Dropbox used to let you do that, but recently they've gone all faffy by attaching HTML to everything so you can seamlessly link to FB etc. Arse.
