A little wet in Squish?

Post by raindog » Wed Sep 15, 2004 5:19 am

I've been checking the weather forcasts for Squamish and it's been nothing but rain. Environment Canada has been wrong before, so what's it like there? Was going to head out there next week for some climbing, is it looking like it might be a waste of time? I'm going to beat myself with rockies choss if I can't get out there soon...

are you serious Strongbad? Even the boulders are soaked! Doesn't Pemberton stay a little drier? What's that area out there you need to traverse a creek to get to, it looks pretty good. I'm going to lose my mind, it's freaking raining everywhere. WTF! gaaaaa

The negative responses wouldn't be a bit of keeping the hordes away kind of thing would it? I mean, the hordes should have left at the end of august, no?

Ultimately, it doesn't matter. Climbing partner is flying into Vancouver and I'm picking her up there. It's a little out of the way from Calgary, but wtf, Squamish is worth it...

Thanks!
