New site feedback / how is page load time

Ironing out bugs on the new site is ongoing. I've heard from several people that page loading time is slow. I'm not experiencing significant slowdowns. I find the home page a little slower to load the twitter feed and the slide show. I'm trying this on a Window 7 machine and IE 8 as well as Chrome, Safari and FireFox on Windows and Mac no problems. Also it seems to load well on an Ipad.

If you are experiencing slow page loading let us know. If you include the browser, the machine and Internet provider you are using it will help troubleshoot the problem.

I'm finding it a bit slower, but not outrageous. It seems as though the initial connect is slow, but then subsequent gets are not bad.

Using Chrome on Windows 7 through telus DSL.

Desktop is XP and it's really slow
Laptop is 7 and it's faster but still a bit slow relative to other sites, you can watch the pages loading in the bottom left corner...
