Marble Canyon Guidebook Info

Post by psi4ce » Tue Aug 24, 2010 6:59 am

Did a route up there at Marble Canyon last weekend (Blue Gold).

It was interesting climbing on limestone. Although the cruxes all seemed to be at the end of runouts before the next pro, I really think I want to explore that area more.

Where can I get a full set of beta?

P.S. Yes, I already know Marble Canyon is mentioned in the new Canadian Rock, but only three routes. I own the book. Hence, Blue Gold.

Yeah I've talked to a couple of people and it looks like Central BC Rock is really the only complete reference goin', albeit old and out-of-print.

Thx!

Kevin McLane's new Canadian Rock: Select Climbs of the West has Marble Canyon in it, but unfortunately just 3 climbs... too bad. Central BC Rock it is!
