The responses in the comments section are always entertaining, in that infuriating way that keeps me watching 'Jersey Shore'.
Nothing says 'compassion' like arm-chair athletes whose closest brush with exercise is carrying a heavy tray back to their seat at McDs.

I watched it happen. He was spinning out of control and then slammed into the wall/tree. If he had hit 40' lower he'd be dead - as there was nothing but slab below the tree.
Lucky guy (and the guy two weeks ago)... last I checked BASE jumpers normally don't get second chances.
