2 x Cougars Seen at Smoke Bluffs
Hi people,
Me and my partner were climbing at pixie corner today, and came across a young cougar, VERY near to us at the rap anchors at the top of The Locker, he did not seem phased by us whatsoever, and did not seem to be stalking us, he was however much too close for comfort.
After beating a hasty retreat, we heard a woman in the estates shouting, and it appears another young cougar was in her front yard, after yelling at it, it went away. A while later the police turned up and chased it further from the estates.
Although both of these cougars appeared to be young and did not display any agressive behavoiur, the mother is sure to be around.
Be very careful around the Bluffs area.
Just a heads up, as this seems to be becoming a problem.
