Buying gear in Seattle or Vancouver? Which stores?

Hello
I'm coming to Squamish, passing Seattle and Vancouver on the way. Going to buy shoes, some cams, slings etc.
Cheaper in US or canada? I'm thinking US with the low dollar?
Which stores should I go to?

Mountain Equipment Co-op. For climbing gear their prices are often cheaper than REI's!
