Partner for Crown Mt. - Widowmaker Arete on Sunday, Aug. 15

Hi,

Interested in climbing this? Don't know much about it other than it mocks me every clear morning from my window.

If you have a car I have gear and have been known to climb stuff. PM me if you're interested.

Holy sh*t you stumped Dru!! That's like out thinking HAL 9000. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1f/Hal-9000.jpg Interviewer: HAL, you have an enormous responsibility on this mission, in many ways perhaps the greatest responsibility of any single mission element. You're the brain, and centr...

Passing should be a non-issue. If there's a party on your heels hang out at the belay and let them pass. If there's a slower party in front of you ask nicely and move ahead. I've never had a problem passing or being passed. Seems like it's just common courtesy to not be a dick and allow everyone to ...

Once used pulleys to cross and last summer walked the line. Luckily no bees - wouldn't that suck?! No big deal getting up to Lovelywater on foot, but hoofing it all the way up to the Haberl/Red Tit hut area with a heavy pack sucks balls. Done it and not interested in doing it again. It can take the ...

Good question. This isn't Yosemite so you won't get crucified but some people may not be too pleased. I've done some aiding on Cacodemon (sp?) but I don't remember nailing. Definitely had a hammer with me though.....

Try to do it clean. Hybrid aliens, hooks ,cam hooks, etc.
