I would expect that if you're going to be a low-life pirate and steal gear, at least don't screw up the climb for others by leaving the bolts occupied by unusable slings -- I expect some losers to go low....but this was lower than I expected possible. Sick. There's probably not a station low enough ...

How some people suck - let me count the ways.....

Now that the rains are upon us, we begin making our wet weather pilgrimages to the Circus Wall at Chek. Last time I was there (spring wetness) I noticed dozens of Petzl permanent draws on many of the harder climbs left behind after the Roc Trip. Not bad I thought......nice to leave something behind ...

The BEST clip-stick is made by G3 -- Genuine Guide Gear. They call it a "cheat stick" for "toprope protection placement". Very sturdy. Long. And the bonus is that it telescopes down to a size that will fit easily on the outside of your pack. A friend of mine bought it locally (in Squish I believe), ...

then that's just *^(*&^* whining and they should shut up, buy an xbox, put on their lululemon, sit on the couch, and pretend to climb.

If your limit is 10d, it's easier to have fun and stay safe if the grading is realistic. Everyone should know that +/- a letter grade is fair game. However, it really sucks to be on an 11d that is sandbagged at a 10d grading. My point is that grading only really matters relative to what your climbin...

we got confused trying to find this crag (not an unusual event...) after taking the trail thru the woods and taking a right fork in the trail we ended up in a rocky area.......followed two cairns to the left and then we couldn't see any more markers or the wall (yes, this is a sad sad story). Is the...

consider: by the time you add up gas money, car and tire wear, speeding tickets, a couple of buffets, lost time, cheap motel, car lag, and the blood clot from sitting in the car so damn long..........isn't it more economical to fly???

Did Prince of Darkness need any gear?

I hear there's often hangers missing.

We're heading down on Friday - may have to put PoD on the menu!

Why not Vegas?

Any of those big-ass hotels will fly you down cheap on a package (their main aim is to get people there cheap so they can gamble).

Plenty of sunny crags to find.
