This is expensive and time consuming but using the gym is important in staying fit in the off season. I would pay more in membership fees to have a local gym for sure. Creativity in ...

Re: Climbing destinations - need recommendations
That would probably help! I am open to any time of year...but I prefer not to leave Squamish in the summer. So ideally Jan-May or Oct-Dec.

Climbing destinations - need recommendations
Hello all I am looking to do a climbing trip to either a single destination, or a combination of places if logistically possible. I am open to all suggestions, but do have some considerations which is why I am seeking advice. In your experience, what places would you suggest that meet the following ...

Rapping into south gully from the apron
Wondering if anyone has recently rapped into the south gully from the top of calculus crack area. according to the select guide, you can do 4 x 30 m raps to descend. interested in knowing if it is sketchy at all, whether there are stations or trees on the way down. any input appreciated

Rescue course
I've been wanting to take a rescue course with squamish rock guides or canada west mountain school, but so far their dates don't fit my schedule. If anyone out there is also looking for rescue techniques and wants to share in the cost of private instruction with a guide, please let me know. you can ...

Trad Partner - esp. weekdays
Looking for trad partners mainly for weekdays (have a few nights off a week...sometimes on the weekend). I lead up to 10b/c and can second into the 11s. Have rope and rack and consider myself to be a very safe climber. Message me at quantum-girl@hotmail.com

However, it is pretty sad when the debates turn juvenile and this board moves from being a forum of ope...

Supernatural at the Squaw
Wondering if anyone has rapped off p1 of Supernatural with a 70 m rope. I know the guide says the route is 40 m, but just hoping with rope stretch and all that I can safely make it off with my 70. Any input is appreciated!

Re: Cam at Malamute
I believe I dropped it either at the base or the top when re-racking. My partner never mentioned having trouble getting anything out while seconding. It has yellow tape around it
