There's a nice big gravel ramp leading up to the trail along the base. Easy peasy.

I wouldn't say that you're under attack. Placing bolts is always going to ruffle some feathers. People are just offering another opinion on the matter. Your efforts are appreciated but some criticism is to be expected. It's hard to imagine any kind of meaningful meeting place for route development. ...

Cool thanks. My partner is on the short side and found the bolt too high to clip from the most obvious stance.

You can skip the bolt ladder with an exposed wide step to a knob to the left from the bolted belay with a little help from the tree. You can then climb straight up to rejoin the route at the crack above the bolt ladder. Might be 5.9 and the gear is a little sparse but adequate. It's been a while sin...

Alarm clock? A run up the Apron takes what, a couple of hours at most? Go in the evening.

Groups of 3 aren't much slower than a party of 2 if the seconds climb at the same time. It might add 5 minutes per pitch. 3 groups of 2 would be much worse IMO. I don't think it's a big deal. 2 parties ahead is of you on a weekend on the Apron is par for the course grouped or not. What time of day w...

Funarama lived up to its name this weekend. The topo for the right side is in a plastic tube on the stump next to the 5.8 crack to the right of Squatter's Rights. Interestingly it lists Squatter's Rights as 5.7/8. Funarama itself was terrific and I'll return for a few of the other lines on the left ...

I used the new trail yesterday since the old one is currently a bobsled track. It's nice. It seems to me that it is to allow mt. bikes to get by more easily in the summer.

I bet Crag X and Easter Island will see more action now.

I don't do it. I either walk off or rap off an anchor and pick it up later.

I agree that there aren't a whole lot of gear belays here; most are trees or bolts. I think there are gear belays on Jungle Warfare, Calculus Crack and Europa/Crap Crags. It's easier to build an anchor than sling trees on Penny Lane as well.

All I know is that it's super run out. As in squinting to find the next bolt run out. If you're comfortable at the grade it shouldn't be a problem.
