Re: Liquid Gold

Good to know. I've been wanting to get on this route for a while. How long would it take for it to dry after the amount of rain we've had lately and with the hot weather coming? Does the third pitch seep bad?

Re: Pic of the day!

Winter Slab and face climbing has been great this year. Lots of perfect weather. Re: Favourite pitch in Squamish - any grade - any style

Center Street at Crag X has got to be one of my favorite cracks. Never get sick of doing it and I don't understand why it's so under rated. No one is ever on it. You can pretty much almost rappel it (short easy downclimb) with a 70m too for those that don't want to belay from the top or do two raps ...

Re: Pic of the day!

Got some new pictures from some climbing trips this fall. Hope you enjoy. In October I figured a trip to Skaha with Nina was in order. Re: Kids Zone: Call to Diggers

The Nursery is directly across from the left end of Funarama and has some layback and jam cracks all around 5.3 or 4 at about 10 metres tall. My girlfriends 3 year old nephew sent all of them and learned some good technique.

Re: Kids Zone: Call to Diggers

The nursery is far better for kids. It's a little far for little ones, though It will get their legs in good shape for those slabs on the apron if they're gonna eventually step up to that.

Re: bullethead east??

The new 10a (10b?) variation on BHE after the initial 5.9 pitch is a great way to climb this multi as it brings you up very direct. This will lead you into what I thought was not only the best pitch on BHE but one of my favorite fun climbs in Squamish: The Stem Box. It's pretty cool. If you havn't d...

Wild Country Zero- grey #3

Wild Country zero grey #3 for sale or trade for something. This cam has been placed maybe 2 or 3 times and has never been fallen on. It is rated at 5 kn and has a softer metal somewhat like the metal the aliens have. I just don't use it so would like someone to take it off my hands for around $40 or...

Re: Access to base of Star Wall

I've since realized that from these chains, a single rappel with a 70 meter rope will get you down to the base as long as you end up rapping climbers left towards the base of high mountain woody. Just make sure to put knots in your rope ends.

Re: Chebacca's 5.10b 3p at Shannon Falls

When I led the 3rd pitch, up at the move where you go from the right crack to the left below the bolt, I seen a sneaky yellow tcu placement at my feet which kept the rope in line below me for the moves up to the bolt. Those moves proved to be much easier after discovering a nice little crimper. Each...

Re: Sunset Strip - A Perfect "5.10" Barometer

This route sure is getting a lot of hype. I'm really excited to get on it soon, maybe on a weekday as the crowds seem to be flocking to it heavily. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if I could get away with using my wild country #4 instead of having to borrow someone's black diamond. I think mine ...
