Not sure where 'last train to hicksville' is exactly, or which one you're talking about, but there's another bolted line to the right of caboose that feels about 11a. it's a ways over though, not immediately right of caboose. goes up some face and kind of traverses left under a big roofy flake thing...

If you're used to placing lots of wires, i'd definitely bring some, especially in the small sizes. I don't think you need actual RPs, but small wires of any sort should help protect the technical slabbier thin crack cruxes in the first handful of pitches. Something pretty big came down from around there on Canada day, right at dusk. A bunch of us were heading up the apron on various routes at sunset... a party on diedre was pretty close to the rockfall, and when i went up banana peel shortly thereafter (i didn't see the rockfall) there were big rock ...

Anytime between now and October could be good, but your best odds for no rain are probably july and august. They're also the hottest months though, too. And a hotel... you might consider staying at the howe sound brewpub, the rooms are rather nice and the commute to your bed after getting wasted dow...

Dropped my chalk bag off of astro ledge yesterday, in between Gone Surfing and The Calling... closer to Gone Surfing. It's a black "dippers" chalk bag with a waist strap.
