Re: Pet Wall closed till 5th of April

Walked past there on Sunday. Fake rock still present.

We planned to haul it away on our way back from penny lane but, a twisted ankle kiboshed our plans.

Great initiative, Joe. I'll be there on the 18th climbing and raising fund to keep our climbs accessible!

how much does a bridge cost? any idea on why the request was denied? we should get some backing behind this, the rock on that side looks amazing and the bluffs are well.. getting pretty busy. getting busy? The rock over there looks really good. I always thought there was some land ownership issues,...

Thirded. ^ ^ ^

September is usually pretty good though, rain comes when it pleases... And it pleases often here.

If it's dry it'd be awesome. Cold. Yes. Great for frictiony boulders.

That being said odds lean towards wet. wet. wet.

The chimney to tunnel part is not difficult. Maybe a bit harder than the chimney on Angel's Crest (last pitch). I've never done Sunshine Chimney.

The trail is flagged well but, narrow at parts. As long as you find the start of it, it's easy to follow.

Dru, I came in from the top. Left some gear to rap off of and picked it up on the way back up.

Definitely lots of cool looking rock up there but, out of the way.

I don't think we brought a camera that day.

A quick search online found only this picture:

Very true. The wrench would be too big!

The nut was loose a couple of weeks ago when I climbed it. I hand tightened back on but not have a wrench. It would be nice if there was a nut tool with a built in wrench on the market. Is the hanger still at the bottom of the climb? http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id...

Climbed with Wu on Saturday (Oct 2).

4th pitch was a bit damp but, doable. Always aidable, too.

8 had wet sections but very doable.

9 was mostly soaked but, fortunately easy enough to pull on gear past any sections that were too wet.

Awesome day, all in all.
