Re: Split Beaver 5.10b New video, nice shooting
You guys can cry about it being run out all you want, fact of the matter is that it is a steep perfectly parallel sided crack that takes the most bomber gear possible whenever you want. Climb it however you want i really don't give a sh!t, my rack recommend was just that. It's not your avg smoke blu...

Re: Heart Fealt Thanks
The moral of this story is before leaving the ground you and your partner practice this mantra: Check your knot Crap a lot there's something else but i can't remember what it is... something to do with having the munchies? How about taking care of the crap a lot part before getting to the base, if ...

Re: Split Beaver 5.10b New video, nice shooting
the rack for beaver needs nothing bigger than a 4, as u can see on the vid he overcams the first 5 & then it's in his way. Climb up 10 feet place a green, then a red, then a gold, then a blue or 2, place a 4, maybe 2 if you really have to. The ow section @ the top is very short & not too bad compare...

Re: Wasp nest next to Viper in the Grand Wall boulders
Hey thanks, there's was one by the Black Dyke boulder a few weeks ago too off the trail to your left & behind the small bench when you approach from the old highway bed towards high v0, it is a ground nest. There is one in the ground by rugmunchers @ forgotten wall that has almost as many tickmarks ...

New routes above/near Genesis/Xodus
Any info? Some bolted, some mixed above Genesis, south of Xodus around Betazoid & looks to be some steep cracks South of Genesis about 200m in the forest below Milkman wall. Climbed a few last weekend & they were fun on mostly great rock. More nice additions to this "renewed" area.

Re: 6 Alien Cams
Might want to reconsider your pricing, i think the cash cow that was selling old, used aliens for $70+ is soon to be a thing of the past. I will wait for new ones, good luck!

Re: Calling out the Hacks.
all climbers solo at some level. For some it is setting an anchor atop burgers & fries, for some it is skipping bolts because you didn't bring enough draws with you, for some it is onsighting a multipitch 5.10 with no rope, my guess is that the guy/girl on the 5.10 has the best odds of survival as t...

Re: stairway to heaven
best climbing on this route is the pitches to the top of the bulletheads and walk off, if you still feel like clipping bolts after go to pet wall. The upper half and "Traverse of the gods" isn't as cool as the name might imply.

Re: The Ten Commandments of Bouldering Etiquette
good list- a few additions & specifics it should say: Thou shalt put all tape, whether their own or someone else' in their pocket & never on the ground & Thou shalt brush off ticks- all ticks- excessive or not & Thou shalt not climb classic problems in their greasy, stinky, dirtbagged barefeet so th...

Re: Here we go again (Squamish Gondola proposal)
apparently where the cars are in the giant ravine/wash is called chopper alley and it would be unlikely that it ever gets cleaned up. It is likely that there is room for many more cars & sofas in there. Regarding the gondola there would only be a few months of the year when it would be good enough w...
