Re: Were you on the Papoose Sat 18 Aug?
I tried that but since it's a page and not just a link to the actual image itself it won't work. I tried to steal the actual link from the source but it won't let me view it and also won't let me save the web page.. i guess i could dig it out of my temporary files but that just seemed like way to mu...

Re: Rapping Down to Broadway Mud Swamp

Scrubber has some experience with this stuff, from what he said getting to the afterthought anchors from there might be interesting + not everyone will know that beta and will still end up with muddy ropes. Alternatively you can alw...

Re: Local writers/climbers fill-out August issue of Gripped
Hey Dave, really sorry I didn't reply to this earlier. I haven't had a chance to read the whole mag because I haven't been able to find it on the shelves, which probably means everyone else has picked them all up! I did however get a chance to Jeremy Frimer's article First Rule Of Dig Club on the Gr...

You got it Steve! The second pitch of Yosemite Pinnacle Left Side to be exact. This thing is super fun! p2 goes at about 10b maybe a move of 10c takes awesome gear to 4" and is very sustained. It is somewhat like it's neighbor corner Milk Run, and has bomber chains at the top provided by Bruce Kay t...

Nice pic Dave, It looks like The Kip 5.7 at Island in the Sky. The bolts just left of it are Mossy Tongue 5.8. I've never done either but I'm pretty sure I've climbed Fissureman's Friend . Gang of Foreplay looks like fun too. ?? http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7263/7691845900_cf7416f7ba_o.jpg ??

Nate, Boomstick will take a 3 or a #4 friend at the start to protect the wide flake. The start can actually be very hard for a short second who starts to far over. We simuled bananna peel and boomstick one time and when Nina got to the flake I hadn't protected the start and she had to dyno to get of...
