Re: Multi Pitch Politeness when stuck behind slow folks.

Ideally you wouldn't head up right behind another party. There are lots of climbs around.

Realize that if you DO catch up to another party, then they absolutely have the prerogative to say, "No, I'd rather not have you pass".

The Daily Planet was the newspaper Clark Kent worked for and was Peter's idea after pushing the route forty feet above our high point. Cosmic Cowboy was our working title and while I felt great up on that wall, I felt more like stick boy than Superman. After pushing the route up to the roof, I opte...

Re: Cleaning at Upper Oleson Cr Wall (Wiretap area)

If one is keen to see the line, there is a photo post of someone climbing Wiretap in the Wiretap thread (taken from Slot Machine). There is a tree obscuring much of the route, but you can make out the mossy green crack line that branches off of the top of the third pitch and arcs its way up the cli...

Re: who stole my summer?

Did it rain as hard on the mainland as it did here on Hornby Island today? I've never seen solid rain like this in the middle of summer in the 22 years I've lived on the west coast.

Re: New site feedback / how is page load time

I'm finding it a bit slower, but not outrageous. It seems as though the initial connect is slow, but then subsequent gets are not bad.
