lost camalot on university wall

not sure where on the wall - didn't notice it was missing til sorting the gear the next day. 0.5 camalot on a purple neutrino, should be some white paint on both the cam lobes and the biner.

The customary beer will be provided to the rescuer :)

The alien proponents are being very quiet... whatever happened to "aliens rule!!!" or "aliens are the best freaking cams ever produced!!" If he'd asked about aiding I'd have recommended aliens (offsets rule) but they just don't seem near as durable as TCUs. My aliens are way newer than my TCUs and ...

I'd go with the TCUs - narrower heads fit better in pin scars

the bluffs were pretty dry yesterday. The north apron looked to be drying fast too, those lucky sods with weekdays off might even get some multipitch in before the next wave of rain.

Looks like we've got parking at the farm for one more year, while a new location is sorted out! Huge thanks to all involved. The long-term solution may require some more fundraising, start saving if you can. ------------------8<----------------------- SKAHA BLUFFS ACCESS SECURED FOR 2007 ! Negotiati...

Speaking of old gear, who in the squamish/vancouver area does cam
reslinging? I've heard rumours that OnSight has stopped doing it...

thanks,

I have a bunch of mismatched old cams that are (AFAIK) safe to climb on, but that I just don't think i'll use. Most are either obsolete designs (original camalots) or booty, or both. Also a pretty old harness and a few belay devices. Useful?

if you go through idaho, the only major city with traffic problems is seattle i think, which you can time perfectly by leaving at the right time.. You can go around seattle, and bypass a lot of the traffic. It's the four eighty-something, I think. Highly recommend spending $20 on a map book, the go...

You have insurance?

I have a bunch of older cams that I could loan out for a while - rigid friends and old-style camalots. Not exactly state-of-the-art, but if you can't replace your gear all at once, these'll help you get climbing again...
