STOLEN!

My storage locker was broken into some time this past weekend. My friend had been storing some things with me while she's back home in Switzerland having ACL surgery. Her black Mammut duffel bag full of outdoor clothing (GoreTex, soft shell stuff, mostly Arcteryx & Patagonia) was taken. I'm keeping ...

Re: Comic Rock Roadside Graffiti

My guess when I saw the grey paint was that someone was just trying to camouflage the yellow lettering. I guess the paint store was out of "Squamish Granite Grey" and made do with the next best thing. I'll volunteer some wirebrush elbow grease if I have a day off this week.

Re: Places to stay in Sept 2012 in Squamish

I stayed there a few years ago when it was too cold to camp and didn't want to drive back and forth from the 'burbs. Staff was friendly, it was clean, quiet (that was expected, it was March) and like every other hostel with a common kitchen and media/rec room. Don't know what your budget is like, or...

Re: Calling out the Hacks.

I think all that can be said about this topic has been covered, with many good points being made. Let's not encourage troll-like behaviour, like this:

Re: Greenwood Park??

I've heard vaguely about this place...somewhere to drytool would be cool since I hate to hang up the tools. Ice season's over :( But how bad is it? Something a couple dedicated drytoolers could clean up? Complete deathtrap shitshow? Is this place a frequently used place for Trailer Park Boys-style b...

Fromage.
Though it would have been interesting to see that billowing hunk of fabric from the parking lot.

Seriously. Dry as a bone. Even the tree climbing pitch. Looked at the new start and it was dry too.
Didn't believe it till I stuffed my fingers in the crack

I'm a friend of Crazymonkey posting here as I don't have my own profile. I am a climber though. I've had 3 ACL reconstructions and 2 more scopes to boot. Why so many? Because I rushed the rehab. Stop worrying about or asking about when you will climb 5.9 trad again. Or when you will TR 5.6 in the gy...

Along with the boycott, I propose that juicy, bloody steaks be tied around the necks of all those involved in this massacre and thrown to a pack of hungry wolves. I hope they are haunted by their actions for life. Astonishing.

Spending a month in Canmore, leaving Feb 1st from Vancouver (technically New West, but close enough). I'll even let you man the ipod.
