found a new-looking locking biner near the base of Sudden Impact - looks like it fell out of someone's pack at the seating area.

Describe it correctly and it's yours!

Q: Why the "R" rating on MEC? bad falls? If 12a is my red point limit are there better ones to spend time on first?

Curious, since it seems to have been labelled "soft".

The biggest sandbag for me so far has been Crawling Right......definitely harder than Creepy Crawlers......mostly because it's less obvious. Most routes (so far) seem pretty fairly graded. Here's the Bosch......excellent at 11b.......but what's with the "let's stretch 5 feet to the left to clip the ...

Hold markings

At the Crest I noticed lots of chalk marks on holds all the way up the climbs (not hand prints, but definite ticks). Are these the result of the route-setting? If so, fine. Or, is there some rogue gym climber ticking all the holds as they go up? Annoying for sure. Perhaps a good rain will solve the ...

Hi All:

Q: on Meighn.com someone posted about a new route (10b) on the Crest.
I can't seem to find the info on this new site incarnation and was hoping to chek it out tomorrow.
