Just want to respond to the "writing route names on walls" issue. The fact that anyone could have a reason against writing names on the wall is due to the fact that there was a comprehensive and readily available topo on the SquamishClimbing.com website. In addition to that, credit has to be given t...

Thieves taking away a good thing.
It has come to my attention that someone or some people, have taken the biners that were left fixed to the anchors of some routes at the Forgotten Wall. This, couple with the theft of a developer's rope on the Shoot To Kill Wall, has inspired me to post this. For those that do not know, they (fixed ...

I picked up the last bit of hangers from Climb On (George) today. He was saying that he'll call tomorrow to order somemore as well as bolts. I also want to reiterate what Peter W has already said. George is fully supporting active bolters by giving us a deal on the hardware. Its his way of giving ba...

Inspected the bolt today and found that it was loose and able to spin in the bolt hole, but not loose enough to pull out. The nut must have been stripped because I had a hell of a time trying to get it off. In the end I decided to pry/bash/bend/chip around it to get it off. 45 mins of my life I wish...

Nice video. That crux sequence looks "supa!". And what a great way to reduce rope drag. That's the best wall in Arco. Just don't go there on a long weekend for Italy or Germany. Its like 10 times (maybe more) the length of Forgotten Wall with anything from slabs at the lower end to steep stuff like ...

Trails
I've been wondering through the Grand Wall boulders lately (haven't been there in over a year) and I noticed all the trail work. They look well done.
Hopefully this will keep people from bushwackin'. Now if we can only get their pets to do the same.
