Re: Sky Pilot - Ascent time from Gondola and Conditions

Does anyone have any pictures of the crux slabs, and where the rappel stations are?

TR Solo friendly areas

Hey all I haven't been to Squamish in a couple years, but I was hoping some people could suggest some trad: crags that are TR solo friendly where I won't get in the way of the crowds or piss people off also have decent climbs that are worth repeating a few times to dial in my technique to maximum ti...

Re: Tee-nuts and climbing holds

Regarding the holds, I would prefer to get them sooner than later which is also why I would want to avoid US shipping and setting up a PO box (I am carless at the moment)

Cheers

Tee-nuts and climbing holds

Does anyone know where I can source tee-nuts inexpensively in the Vancouver area? MEC has them for $24 for 100 count.
Any place cheaper?

Where can I source cheap climbing holds without shipping ($$$) from the US?

Thanks!

Climbed this in June sometime and thought it was great (I'm a 5.9 climber). The elephant steps were very memorable! I would recommend the route just to climb in these steps!

Can't edit my original post, but some routes I have been thinking about are:
The Zip 5.10a
Flying Circus 5.10a (though looks super polished!)
Pauls Crack 5.10a (how is the gear off the ground? I remember it being thin to start)
Jabberwocky 5.10a/b
Arrowroot 5.10b

Thanks

well protected 5.10- route suggestion

I am looking at trying some 5.10- single pitch climbs before I leave squamish and was hoping to get some suggestions from some people that know squamish well. I would prefer routes that are well protected and are crack climbs. I can comfortably lead 5.9 but haven't tried more than 1 or 2 5.10a route...

I'm sorry for your tumble, but there is now a new easier walk off from the top of birds of prey. if you finished on jungle warcrap then you have to head uphill to access it. hope you feel better soon. Does the new walk off descend climbers right or left? I took the old cave descent down from Jungle...

That was the general suggestion, I felt more comfortable hand traversing it lol

Re: diagonal crack on easter island

does anyone know the name of the diagonal crack between easter island and out to lunge i thought it was a 5.8 but someone said it was a 5.9 ... which seems fair since it's a tad pumpy thanks guys! I heard it was a 5.9 also, and would agree on the rating cause it's a bit pumpy. Would also like to kn...
