Tips for cleaning dirty crack?

I'm cleaning cracks for the first time and having a though go of it. Some of the cracks are just filled with roots and mucky dirt and my brushes, hands, nut tool and minor irrigation are just not cutting it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to use in this situation, as to cut down the tim...

Thanks for the follow up Ryan! I've done apron strings a couple of times, the first time freaked out and the second time it seemed casual. A little testis i've done as well with not too much difficulty except my hand size is a bit big for it, so i'm not sure if that is going to be an advantage on th...

Yo ryan. Did you have a chance to climb the suggested routes and have a go at the grand? Would love to know what you think of the comparisons as i'm in the same boat.

Thanks

Steve! I guess you never developed that kindergarten glue fetish huh? Anyways, joking aside, iv'e talked to some people around the boulders who think it'll still go without the flake. It'll just be significantly harder. Not sure if anyone has tried it yet though. You should keep us posted on how it ...

The award would more aptly be named the Ecosocialist Rehabilitation Award
Yah, but ecofeminism might be a little more painful.

And now we are way off topic.

I'm sorry but I don't see this as a property rights issue, it's a moral issue. Thankfully it seems like there are bylaws that protect against the uninhibited obliteration of your own property. It boils down to the simple age old idea of stewardship. Every human being is obligated to protect resource...

Aaron! Do you really think that private land owners should be able to do what they want? Lets say I was your neighbour and on my front lawn I erected an giant penis statue because I think it would be funny... maybe I would even make money off of it by claiming it was a site of immaculate erection? I...

where is "neat and clean"? Or is it "neat and cool? It's only appropriate that the climb be named after the detergent used to clean the crack. Like: Mr. Clean Vim or liquid plumber? oh, and you should post a picture. maybe this topic will bring some life back to squamishclimbing.com, because serious...

I think everyone can agree that Shots fired is a sweet problem. It would be a bummer if that got blown up. maybe we could convince some hippie gym climber to chain himself to the bolder to halt road construction. Desire is getting a bit mossy on the upper half. i guess it just adds to the scary fact...

What problems are getting wiped out for sure? I keep hearing about desire and shots fired being blown up... but thats just through word of mouth. It would be kinda neat to run a little experiment, but then what if some jack a$% goes and turns shots fired into a glassy mess and then the problem never...
