pfff

Speedway is a lot of roped hiking (no-hands) but the crux pitches are sustained and bold at their grades. If you liked "question of Balance" on the Apron you will dig this one.

Late August and September can be snowy and/or very cold in the Bugs.

If you get snowed out, the Valhallas make a good plan B - 2,000 feet lower in elevation and further south = warmer

Since this is about climbers' access, it would be nice to see CASBC take a position on this, and that would also lend more weight to the resultant opinion than an ad hoc effort by a couple of climbers.

There was a large collapse/slide about 2 km south of the current one, that closed the highway for a week. I'd love to but I'll be in the alpine for 10 days.

If you head to Elbow Lake, Harrison Bluffs, or Hatzic Rock though, it's likely you will find some locals climbing to hook up with.

That's pretty cool, that was a longstanding record.
Now who holds the record for greatest number of laps on the Grand in a day. Is it still Peder and Hamish, with 5x to Bellygood?
