The reason why I'm going off? The original discussion being about ethics has de-evolved to what's "cool" or people adding unnecessary comments (ie. stick clips are for short people). It feels like high school all of a sudden on this forum and we've actually been able to avoid that for the longest ti...

I don't know if Brendan can be so generous to even say he is unfunny. I just think that you have not and cannot contribute anything constructive. Its not that you're uneducated, you just don't say anything worthwhile for the rest of us. Its either a slag or its a brag about something you did. For th...

Looks like original gorbi is jonesing to be the first person to do Pulse without the first 3 clips pre-clipped. Good for you. The thing is... I can name a whole slew of other routes, like Pulse, where every hard climber that comes along stick-clips or preclips. You just haven't climbed hard enough a...

Embrassment huh? So you would be more proud to sit at home all summer with an injury while the rest of us are out having fun. I guess you would rather brag (aka feel proud of) about your couch potato a$%. The reason why you stick clipped is cuz you didn't want to get hurt. Anyone advocating the non-...

Stick clip "ethics" are normally created/determined by so-called hardman no-fear climbers who typically don't have to go to work Monday morning.

I had a hard time w/ LeFemme (some people say height helps, I didn't give it enough gos to agree or not), since then apparently holds have broken making it harder (I can't confirm).

FUBAR is good but bouldery... don't know if you were looking for that.

I didn't rate the routes. Straight out of the guidebook.

And he/she didn't ask for bouldery/one-move-wonder routes.

What beginner?! These weren't beginners in the most generous sense. The didn't have a clue. They were learning on the route. I have no problem if someone is less exprienced and is taking their time becuase they are not proficient with stuff and they're working their way through stuff (ie. the climbi...

"What to make of it" Rant

So I was going to bring a buddy (decent sport climber and boulderer) of mine up Diedra on Sunday. He had never done multi-pitch and wanted to get up aways. We got to the base around 9:30am only to find a party of 4 on the first pitch and and 2 other parties waiting in line. The party on-deck was a t...

Its in amonst the Grand Wall boulders. If you're standing next to The Proposal, face north and you see a large boulder (I think its called Elven Bolt boulder), walk 10 to 15 meters and you'll be at the base of the route.
