Still a flash. Although replicated.... it still is not the actual problem and the copy cannot account for every detail (ie fear, friction, wind, etc).

You won't find a topo because technically the crag is closed. Anyone producing a topo for others is promoting a false idea that the crag is open. I've heard of one "underground" from locals. Just remember it is technically still close and the Access Society is treading lightly to work toward ensurin...

Yes. The 11 crux is protected with a bolt and one can clip into it pull up to the better holds higher up.

I don't think so. If you think about it.... if you're trying a route for the first time and you miss a key hold because either you weren't looking in its direction or it was "hidden" that will totally make it harder. Hence, one would conclude its a harder route.

How about lowering next to a route and checking out all the holds before trying to climb the route for the first time? Still onsight I guess. But after reading all the post one can see the discrepencies in the accepted and defined definitions of onsight. Wikkipedia's definition: On-sight A clean asc...
