But the point you are missing here is that the entire wall (including Low Impact) was set up so that one wouldn't have to thread through the chains. The thing with quick links is that one would still have to secure themsleves at the anchors, untie, rethread through the quick links, and then tie in. The whole idea behind the biners is that they are very convient.
