I'd say that the modded Gri Gri is the way to go. It seems to be the most versatile of the bunch. Easy lower off's and pendulum's, easy (if you're smooth no hands) feeding of slack, small size (unlike the Silent Partner), will hold an upside down fall (unlike the Soloist), cheap, easy to unload(unli...

I got out bouldering a couple times last week. Been spending much time at the Co Op. Boyd and Beef told me they cleaned about 20 new problems at the Bluffs! Boyd also bolted a new project on the Supervalue headwall. Al and Travis as usual have been cleaning at the Bluffs (around the Island crag?), a...

It's pretty dry. Most of Neat and Cool is dry, almost all of Penny Lane and lot's of random routes are dry in other areas. Today is the money.

Thanks
J.

Steve, the space is way bigger than my old wall, and 4 feet taller. Members will get a key. If you bring a friend, they'll have to sign a waiver and pay $5-$8 not sure on the exact rate.

Truth be told, I made Ben offer me a new name. I don't think that it's too serious. Also, I know that Jim S. "created" the climb, but didn't Sonnie get the F.A.?

Smell The Glove/Silent Menace

Yesterday Ben Harnden A.K.A. "Butters" made the first ascent of Silent Menace since the starting hold broke off, renaming it Smell The Glove. The new version clocks in around .14b. Also of note is Butters height. At five foot three, he single handedly takes away the excuse of not being tall enough t...
