Access to base of Star Wall

I put up some chains on the top of Stefanie's Tears at the Malamute today. This offers better access to the base of Star Wall rather than having to walk around to the base of Paul's Crack and rappel through that awful corner. Now you can do a quick rap to view ledge where there are rap bolts and do ...

Attention; Danger

My girlfriend Nina was climbing over the rainbow today and came across a detatched flake resting on a small tree where over the rainbow meets sickle on OTR's 3rd pitch. It is directly overhead where everyone lines up for the infamous deidre. Someone WILL get hurt unless it is taken care of immediate...

Re: New start to Calculus Crack

It's really fun to link the 5.9 direct start into the 10.b dihedral directly above (second pitch of start from scratch) to give a true direct start to the calculus pitches above. It's about 69 meters so no need to simul with a 70m. If you choose to break the pitches up it's best to build a gear anch...

Re: Found Rappel / Top rope set up at Upper Malemute

Wednesday sounds good. Are you going to be climbing during the day? I will be working until 5 but can meet you where ever after that at say 6. If that works.

Re: Found Rappel / Top rope set up at Upper Malemute

Hey Jeff. I'm actually in the process of moving from Whistler to Squamish for this weekend so maybe next week we could meet up where ever works for you as I will be running around like mad all week juggling work and moving and cleaning and all that fun stuff. I'll be free weekday evenings or weekend...

Re: Found Rappel / Top rope set up at Upper Malemute

I see you found my setup. Thanks for the honesty. And thanks for putting up a ton of amazing routes. If I could get it back that would be great. I'll have to tone down my forgetfulness. My cordolette is red and was tied off on a figure eight with two straight gates and two worn lockers. It was left ...
