My recommendation, which happens to be my favorite 11a, is Rutabaga. 2 pitch 11a at the base of the chief. Long, varied, safe and excellent for 200 feet. Give 'er!

New sport routes on way to Pet

Near the trail on the way to Pet wall, there are a couple of sport climbs on the mossy slabby rocks (right hand side of the trail) with no name. Anyone know these things? They seem to be from this spring, but I could be wrong. Names, grades, FA info, anything???

Gary, you're calling this 12c now in your new guide??? Wow, talk about a gimme at the grade. Try Cut to the Chase, Heist, Animal, Fish Hotline or any of a dozen older routes for 12c baseline. Dichotomy is not in that league by a longshot. Well, at least that's my humble opinion.

Some stuff in Squish is soft. Squishy soft. But my opininon is not that the whole place is so. It is more inconsistent than anything. Just keeping the thread on track with trad stuff, check out a climb called Red Nails. Its also in the bluffs just past the zip. This is also rated 11c. It is not even...

I will be at the red too around mid to late october and afterwards so we can climb a few routes together if you are game. I k...

It's kinda funny that despite the nicknames everyone knows everyone else and what they climbed. I guess with 8a.nu its hard not to. hehe

Just so you know.... its only 12d at the most and a soft one at that. It really shouldn't get any recognition.... espacially if you Onsight it. I don't really care too much whether its 12d or 13a or whatever, i just heard from a bunch of people already that its a must do route next time I am at map...

Hi slayer, I have no clue what Dictomy is, and I am not describing it or Highway to the Danger Zone (I don't know that one either). I was talking about Dichotomy. Sorry, i know it's my accent right? Dichotomy is the Pete Lindgren route up on the Whiskey Jack wall which was rated between 12d and 12b ...

Dichotomy

Great new route! Doesn't look like much, and the cobwebs in the crack may keep people from trying it, but you should all try it!!! Once i figured out the tricky and deceptive boulder problem start and swept out the cobwebs the route really climbs great! I agree with the current 5.12b grade, tho it m...
