Should we all go back to climbing in leather boots with hemp ropes and the only acceptable bolting process is on lead? I agree with bolting to take away a ground fall or to make it more user friendly. That is my bit of chatter to add! Yeah! Lets bolt cracks to make it more user friendly to those wh...

 You could always try a condo rental. Most of the hotels in downtown area are pretty dodgy, with drug dealers living in them year-round. Inn by the water is good though, and probably the closest to the chief. We rent our condo out for short and longterm stays, check out www.seatoskycondo.blog...

Well said Riel and I am glad that you were able to enjoy Squamish for 55 nights. There are not many areas in the world where you can do that. If the owners of the land dont want people camping there then all they have to do is put up a sign. Hell as you said they tried to log the area without permit...

Grab a book, the list of good V5 and under is very long; Trad Killer, crack head, hulksters humpfest, about 15 problems in the Easy Chair area, about 100 problems in the forest and maybe that many more in the north walls. Actually screw the book. Walk through the forest and climb what looks interest...

Yosemite bans the presence of dogs in their park and it has been very successful. As have many other parks because of dog wild animal conflict and the fact that a good number of dog owners are just simply tools. Amen to this. I have climbed and travelled all over the world and never come across any...

Lost Moose Lodge up Carmi road. Campsites are available or you could drive 5 minutes beyond and camp anywhere along the logging road. My 2 cents, they should make a bivy site compared to Smith off of the new parking lot. Pay parking and camp is included. and if you are going there this weekend, make...

Follow Carmi road to the end where it turns to a dirt road.....Pick a spur road and follow it till you find one you like. If you have a 4x4 you can access some sweet look outs off of the spur roads. Or, stay at the camp ground by the lake.
