Re: Mank Patrol

While grovelling up the pillar yesterday after work i noticed some loose rocks on the ledge right after the wide part. I noticed them when trying to get into there (cause i almost grabbed one) and then on my way up I stepped on one accidentally and almost knocked it onto my belayer. I had to fumble ...

Re: Squamish climbing gets big profile in the Guardian Newsp

The fish and chips at the wigan are awesome. Highly recommended. Many post muli and cragging meals and beers have been enjoyed there by me and my friends.

I led "ugly anders" as robin calls it this summer. I found it to be a quality crack which takes good gear and had a pleasantly hard start. I also found it in very clean condition, so it must have been renoed recently. I would recommend it to any 10a leader as a good challenge. I also found it an exc...

I think mclane sums up AC pretty well. Despite holding a fair bit of greenery and being slow to dry, it is very popular, offering grand views, fine situations and is especially pleasant in the heat of summer. It is longer and more tiring than it may appear. I love the route but have never tried it o...

Hey Anders, Nice to meet you too. I would agree with you about Bran Flakes if it got climbed ever. It definetly doesn't detract from QB because nobody gets on it. Just one bolt somewhere above the first one to prevent people from decking and I think it would see alot more traffic. 99% of the people ...

I thought you were trying to make this climb more attractive? Its easy but .9 leaders like pro. I think it would get more traffic if you left it the way it is now.

Whistler Rockclimbs is a guidebook. But i think it is out of print. which is why i gave you those descriptions. Chuck Chuck is good but not much there for the sub-10 climber.

Whistler rock climbs has some topos. If you cant find that the first wall you come to in the forest goes .6 .8 and .9 from left to right. Then if you you keep hiking up you will come to the talus field and the first wall is monkey and weasel. It is .7 .8 .9 .10b .10c .9 .10a .8 from left to right. T...

We climbed this on saturday, it was very fun. Found getting in the crack very awkward, my two other partners did too. Left a purple nut on the first pitch cause i sunk it real good and my partner couldn't wiggle it out, so booty to who ever grabs it. It was booty to me and has served me well. I foun...
