If the 4th class is that big of a deal on Broadway north the best option may be to do 4 single rope rappels up to 30m into the south gulley via Bad Pants Party. if you are climbing a route that ends under memorial ledge, it's probably faster than hiking across and down anyways and is easily reached ...

the bolt on the 2nd pitch (10B) of the Daily Planet seems to rattle in the wind. Anyone who has made it past the first pitch probably won't fall there but it is still pretty exciting to see it moving on it's own. RE: rope drag/far away anchors on wonderland "Ton of rope drag having the bolts that fa...

Stefanie's Tears @ the Malmute 2 pitches, great position, fun climbing. 5.9, 5.8. In the bluffs do Old Age, Jabberwocky, Wonderland link up since someone is definitely TR'ing Mosquito right now. Check out that newly developed cliff @ shannon falls discussed recently on the site AMO wall? I think. Co...

I think it's pretty obvious that it wasn't a climber who stole the tent. The Chief and Apron parking lots have the highest amount of vehicle break-ins anywhere in the whole sea to sky corridor, i'm not sure if you could expect less (being robbed) while camping in plain view of the highway. I have ha...

Totally Fre..... it's so lame how the locals actually care and want to maintain access @ Squamish for future generations. It's so sad too, how it comes at the expense of the "homes" of some ignorant hippies. The junkies downtown were bound to figure it out sooner or later and pedal their 10 speeds u...

Well put enchanted, i'm glad the tent city is gone as well. Hopefully future visitors will understand how important it is to respect the wishes of the local community - regardless of where you are visiting or where you are from, i'm sure most of us do when we travel to new areas.

Doing the buttress/ultimate/angels crest and pulling on gear @ the crux(es) would make a better 5.8 A0 if you are into 5.8 A0's, the foothold broke on the direct "free" line so may be a touch harder now (we thought 10c/d). Most climbers will not return to this route again after climbing it. I hate t...

Malmute camping

Has anyone noticed the tent community on the upper Malmute that seems to be growing everyday? Seems like a great place to camp but with all the access issues that already threaten it's existence is it worth it to jeopardize hundreds of great climbs so you can save a few bucks or be closer to the cra...
