define "high clearance"

who cares about the stick clip? If you're already cheating by using bolts you may as well use a stick clip too.
Bolts and stick-clips accomplish the same thing, making the route safer to climb.

Hey. 'Squamish Select' says top pitch of Rutabaga is 11b in two places: in the index and in the description of the climb. But the title in Select and in Kevin McLane's book says Rutabaga is 11a. I also noticed a lot of other grades in the McLane guide book have been upgraded from 10d to 11a in the S...

Gondola on the Chief

Hey Just read this on Gripped news... maybe it's old news, but it surpised me. Anyway it wouldn't hurt to send another e-mail to your local representatives. Gondola on the Chief: Now the Fight is for Real The BC Provincial government has recently announced it intends to allow a group of Whistler-bas...

In the Squamish Select it says "The Grand Wall is a must do for those with the necessary prerequisites." Any idea's what some good grovel prevention climbs are? Style counts you know.

Hey funny thing.
Just decided to sit down and puruse squamish message boards for the first time and lo and behold, there was a message that i could identify with because... I found your gear!

E-mail me at ryan_boarder@hotmail.com and we'll work out how to get it back.
