Re: Rambles (4p, 5.8)

Had a nice Rambles up to do Diedre last night. Loved it! Fun way to reach the ledge. I may never do the scramble up left again... Cheers, Jer.

Re: Photophobia 5.10 5 p on Slhanay (Squaw)

I rapped part of the route while getting into our project and I've seen the other pitches from the ground and they look amazing. Glenn has cleaned it so it shines. Once we finish our lines it's next on the list.

Base Canopy hung up the Trees Above the Badge

There was a blue base jumping canopy hung up in the trees above the Badge last evening. Anybody know the details of that story?

Nice Jeff! I haven't been back to Seal Cove in years. The last time might have been with you. We should go back sometime. It would be good to climb with you again.

Sonnie just told me it was big Kevin (Beefcake). He did a great job. Check them out if you're in the forest. Thanks Kev!

Elves in the forest?

Thank you to those who have been running around retro-scrubbing boulders in the Grand Wall this fall/winter. I was pleasantly surprised to see Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworth looking so clean. The boulder had a lot of earth on top that always held water and caused the problems to get dirty really quic...

I second the Anasazi Lace-ups. The best hard slab shoe for sure. For easy slabs the Guide Tennies are king. Comfortable and they stick like glue!

Here are some facts from someone who has lived here almost my entire life and worked hard for access in our area: 1. Riel and the rest of the people who chose to stay on the Malamute are WRONG! You don't just come into town, roll onto someones property and set up camp. Especially in such a visible s...

Sorry guys. I knew where the routes were because I messed around on some ice there years ago so I didn't have a problem finding the routes.
