perhaps it is because you are not actually climbing at the moment but rather resting on the rope? It's always more interesting seeing someon in motion. :)

I'm glad that nobody got hurt in that situation. I feel bad for that kid who threw the rocks. He really must have some deep traumatic issues that he would resort to doing harm towards others. No emotional healthy person would do such a thing. What he really needs is someone to talk to him one on one...

A plaque is a good memorial and may serve to prevent similar problems in the future. How about actual signs at the different climbing areas saying 'Be careful!'. Bouldering in Tulum

I managed to find something to climb along the shores of the ruins in Tulum back in April of this year. The rocks are damn sharp though! :x

Climbed today for a few hours at Cypress Falls until it started raining around 6pm ish. Trees are very helpful. :)
