Easy Aid climbs

I would like to learn how to aid climb at some point this summer. Mostly to get a better understanding on gear placement, what holds, what doesn't. But also to climb things I wouldn't normally be able to. Can someone recommend a good place/area to learn that I won't be in the way of other climbers, ...

Sky Pilot can be accessed via Britannia Creek to Furry Creek FSR. All gates open 2 weeks ago. Road is in good condition. Gets you to the Mountain Lake Hut Trail.

If you don't need a shower, camp at the chief campground. Has water taps, outhouses and a cook area. Could go to the Brennen Rec Center for showers. For more camping you could check out the Squamish Municipal Campground right near Brennen Rec. center. I don't know the fee, probably a bit more than t...

Dooley: I assume your jeep isn't stock? I went up to the boulder blockade earlier this week with my 4runner and saw where the rocks were stacked to cross the blockade, but looks like you need some larger tires and some clearance to get through, not something I would try in my 4runner at least lol Wh...

Wanted: small room for rent

Looking for a small room/closet/under your stairs to rent for the next 2+ months (dependent on getting a job here)... as cheap as possible as all I need is to fit a foamie to sleep on and some gear I don't leave in my car.

Please message me if you know of something!

Looking for Squamish Partners

I am a beginner-intermediate climber looking for partners all day of the week until I find a part time job here in Squamish. (I didn't climb more than 4 times last summer due to an ankle injury, so I am a bit rusty at the moment). Please send me a message or e-mail ( roberts.sw AT gmail DOT com) if ...

Hi ! I'm french, I would like to spend few months this spring/summer in Squamish, to climb. I don't know if it's easy to find climbing partners there, because I'm going to travel alone. Any other comments?
Is there any labour jobs inside Squamish, or do I have to travel to Van for that?

What about coffee shops? Do I need any special certificates, etc to apply?
Gear stores? Are they ever hiring around the spring?
Grocery stores are an option too...

The ability to pick up extra shifts/hrs is a big plus too, i.e. weather calls for a week of rain, I might as well work the whole week.
