Goals for 2009

Halifax, There is tons of "near country" off of the ski resorts, Blackcomb, Whistler, Grouse, Seymour, Cypress, etc. Whistler-Blackcomb offers a backcountry access pass that is cheaper than the day pass, you get one ride up the lifts, as long as you have a beacon, probe, and shovel. There is also to...

We spoke with a few people who were climbing at the Forgotten Wall and they said that the bottoms of the routes were dry but the tops were a bit ...

I was up there just a couple of weeks ago and didn't notice that it was loose. That block has always been pretty solid. I even remember pulling pretty hard on it and don't remember it moving.

Another Route on the Asylum

The route on the far right of the Asylum has finally been cleaned enough to call it open. It is called "Dart Therapy". A doctor friend who works in the Psych ward told me that "When patients get out of hand they have two people hold them down, bend them over, pull their pants down to expose their a$...

Lost Camera at the Apron in Squamish - Reward!

Hello, I accidentally misplaced my Cannon A60 digital camera while out climbing Friday. It was after we had finished a route on the Apron at the Squamish chief. I think that I left it next to the Stawamus river bridge over Highway 99. If you have found it I would be willing to pay a reward to get it...
