Re: Help with a checklist for trip to Squamish

The Squamish Adventure Center/Chamber of Commerce has free wifi and a coffee bar, or at least they did last summer. It's a quick walk from the Smoke Bluffs and town center. There's also some good places in town for coffee and wifi, and I think the library has internet access too. The Rec center is p...

Re: Skywalker, 5p, 5.8

We did Skywalker this afternoon, had a great time on it. Thanks for the hard work scrubbing and bolting on this line, the stations are all perfect. The cracks are cleaning up nicely too, no surprise there since there were three other parties on the route today (Monday). Thanks for adding another nic...

I have a rope, rack and vehicle, and am fast and safe on trad, but have limited alpine experience. Drop me a line if you're interested notgreg...

Peters Slab, Squamish Special and Old Git worked me pretty hard. Snake Hips is awful too. Also, The Coffin is great for making people look stupid, especially if they are bigger.

Looking For Partners

Here's the deal, I live in Victoria. Anyone interested in swapping rides from the ferry terminals? I usually go to Horne Lake and am more than willing to pick some people up to save the cost of taking a car on the ferry. If no one wants to go to Horne Lake (get your head checked), then how about pic...
