Forget the pit. Camp up in the pinion forest near the upper gorge. There wil be an intersection right before you arrive at the upper gorge. Go left here and take the dirt road 1.6 miles until you see the pine trees. Look for a faint dirt trail on the right. Follow it and find yourself a killer site....
