Re: For New climbers heading outside

Re: Mank Patrol

NateDoggOG, I thought the roof bolt spinning when you go to clip was part of the challenge... Keeps things interesting =) Is the repel from the top of Jacob's ladder still a bunch of dirty cord? It's been a while, but last I saw, a stainless anchor chain might help.

Re: squamish climbing cartoons

Thanks a lot. It's a shame that I can't find most of them anywhere now. They're a pretty awesome piece of Squamish esoterica.

squamish climbing cartoons

Some years back I recall coming across some comic-style drawings on the internet that the artist seemed to base around the climbing scene in Squamish. I can't find them anywhere now. Does anybody know what happened to them? (p.s. I know this isn't really "climbing" but I wasn't sure where else to po...

Ok, I had seen that broken off and just had to speculate how it all went down. "I really hope the climber decided to stick clip that" I thought as I looked between the fresh patch of wall and the 20 foot drop. But, I didn't see any bloodstains so I assumed everything was hunky-dorey :D

Vancouver resole

Does anybody know of a reasonably cheap resole place in the Vancouver area that they have been satisified with? Has anyone saved money sending their shoes to the U.S. for a resole?

Yes! You would be better off with two smaller pads so just buy one and climb with somebody else. The landings in the chief boulders are often uneven and two pads gives you more stacking options to prevent turned ankles.

Sorry JSmith but I don't have a video camera
I'm too cheap for now to buy a better guidebook but is there a good place to find info on these climbs(i.e. where they are)?

I think you have the same size as me. I'm pretty sure most people have a larger left foot so I'm not sure you'll have much luck
