Re: Questions from someone new to the area

There's lots of sport and lots of trad so you can do whatever you like. Pick up a copy of Squamish Select and you'll have all the info you need. There is some toproping, but not a huge amount, so easily top-ropable areas tend to get busy fast. Enjoy your visit!

Nice. That is the crux at the top of "Flypaper" too. Well if you liked "Domestic Disturbance" You should definitely go back because It is pretty much the crappiest route there. LOL. Not that it is bad, it's just that the rest are a lot better. "Big Money Grip" is reaaally good. cool. will have to g...

Domestic Disturbance was plenty dry and was a fun route. Flypaper was 80% dry and was fine until the bulge at the top where the wet holds spat me off. My buddy's a bit taller and managed to get through the crux with a lot of grunting...

Here's a pic from the squamish access society's website: http://www.squamishaccess.ca/News/largeimage.php?PhotoID=37&x=87&y=58 For what it's worth, if people really think that it's important that logging in certain places should be restricted, then they should lobby their local government to change ...

we should find a boulder which is going to get blown up due to highway expansion, and torch it to find out exactly what the consequences are!? that way several people can torch it at the same time, only in different ways, to find out where the problem lies! :o unfortunately, the obvious problem wit...
