Anyone know info on who's assorted gear was left at the top of the new routes at Murrin? I've got it and am willing to return it.

Cougar
When was the cougar spotted? Was it approaching people? Has it been seen since this initial sighting? The Conservation Officer Service will be notified but they would like more information on the cougar. If it is hanging around the area and is potentially threatening people, they would most likely t...

helmets and head injuries

The trade routes in Squamish often have people above...Exasperator i...

BC Parks built a descent trail last October from the top of the Papoose down to the base. The trail heads east from the summit, instead of west (like the old trail), and drops you down quite expeditiously to the base. No need to rap if you don't want to. The trail is also marked with the standard or...

Ravens' nest at Pet Wall
The ravens have abandoned the nest at the Pet Wall and signs that BC Parks had posted have been taken down. There are no closures to report of in Murrin Park but the closures due to the peregrine falcons are still in place on the Chief. Those closures include all routes between Freeway and Negro Les...
