Re: Approach - Wonderful Thing About Tiggers

Going to the Fluffy Kitten Wall from the gondola is quite the hike. I would recommend going the original way its way more approachable. If you really want to go for this adventure their is a way from the gondola. If you follow the directions to the crag mentioned in the link posted it will bring you...

Re: New take on an old route at Shannon Falls

Just to add to my reply. I dont think climbing should be for everyone its important to keep our old ethics alive plus theirs plenty of well protected climbs in the area that you can go to if a run out is an issue or hike up and set up a top rope. Instead of adding a bolt people should practice their...

Re: New take on an old route at Shannon Falls

Hey Kris ! Thanks for cleaning an awesome climb !We did it in two pitches just to make it easier for the belayer to watch the leader climb and communicate plus maybe getting less rope stretch when falling. So the 2nd pitch is great no need for an extra bolt took multiple whippers on a BD 0.4 and it ...

Het gets off attention and we are giving it to him plus he just got 100 plus views on his website from people that dont like him, just from posting here haha ! So we can either ignore him when he post his next epic or learn from his stupidity and hope that his only climbing partner is a solo device!...

Re: Mank Patrol

The first bolt of swan song is loose as well. The whole bolt wiggles a bit inside the rock if you pull it up and down but the nut or hanger are ok. Not much of a problem right now and not as bad as dream of passion but its a matter of time until it gets worst.

Thanks Oli.

Re: Mank Patrol

The maillon on the permadraw at the crux of face the music at check is about 50% worn down from people taking whipper at the crux. The bolt has pretty much cut half way down on the maillon making a perfect cut for the bolt to sit in.

Re: NE Habrich

I finally got to go back up again to take some photos of the area their was still lots of snow once you get on the north aspect but the good news is that their is an easier and shorter approach from the Shannon Creek (2hrs one way) side starting from the gondola involving no climbing. This a great a...

NE Habrich

Hey folks I was just wondering if anybody ever venture towards the NE Col of Habrich??? Ive been hiking up checking some spots out and it looks like lots of potential in the area especially over the col I think it would be a great camping and climbing spot. Four of us did some climbs their last year...
