climbing tomorrow (Tues)?

Hello all, Anyone interested in getting out tomorrow morning? Sounds like some precip might be rolling in so I would favor an early-ish start and hope for some pitches as weather develops. I'd be game for single pitch or low-commitment multi-pitch (bolted anchors or walk off options). I prefer to cl...

partners everyday till March 11

Hello all, I'm hoping to find partners to climb a bunch with till March 11. Probably at Ground Up based on the forecast. I'm 35, climbing for about 15+ years. I haven't climbed for a couple months and psyched to get back to it. Probably leading 10s and lower 11s at the moment. Please, only experienc...

Lost Camera area 44, preview crag oct 3

I was with a school group at the Preview Crag, Oct 3 and one of the students apparently left a camera somewhere in the rocks down below the crag. He would be extremely grateful if anyone has found it. Please either let me know on this forum or email me at - danesherstad@yahoo.com.

Thank you!

Re: Ice climbing Shannon Falls

Thanks for the input both! Climbed Shannon today - wet but fun. Climbing continues a bit beyond what was visible which was a pleasant surprise. Ended up as 7 pitches (mostly very moderate) as we broke it up. Starting climbers R was probably the trickiest part but set us up for cruiser ice higher up....

Ice climbing Shannon Falls

Would anyone who has climbed on Shannon Falls be willing to share some thoughts on conditions it takes to form? Temps, length of time, etc. I recognize there are tons of variables in the works here. Any perspectives would be appreciated!

Thank you, Dane

Ice conditions near Squamish?

Howdy all - I'm new to the area and wondering if this cold spell has formed any fun local ice? Anyone been out and willing to share some observations? WI3 to 4- multipitch would be my choice, but looking to make the best of what might be around - Oleson Crk and alpine in the Lions sound intriguing. ...
