Re: New Route by Glenn Woloski - Fog Ducker Spire

I managed to free climb the Free Dimensional pitch today after several trips up Fog Ducker Spire.
Fingers to RP's, runout in the crux, .13+.
It's amazing. Go climb it.
Respect is due to Glenn for the vision and hard work involved with opening this area.

Re: Grand Wall Bouldering Co-op 2015-2016

Just wanted to bump this thread for the Co-op.

We built the Co-op 8 years ago and have been working hard to keep people climbing ever since. Come out and show your support.

DJ Earthwoman is confirmed for the party so you know its going to get rowdy.

Hi all.
I just wanted to bump this post because the S.A.S. is gearing up for a 6th(!) round of mank correction. Please let us know if you've seen any sketchy bolts or anchors recently that need some love.

Re: Logging planned above Squaw/ Olson creek

I can speak for the Squamish Access Society on this matter. First of all there was clearly a failure to contact stakeholders by BCTS when they did the "public consultation phase" at the beginning of the year. No climbing or hiking groups were contacted at that time. SAS first found out that somethin...

"Several recent reports from climbers suggest that a pair of Peregrine Falcons has a nest in the Upper Black Dyke Zone of the Chief, likely above Bellygood Ledge and south of the Black Dyke, in the area of the routes Upper Millenium Falcon, Universal Key and Shav...

Re: 12 new Bolts left of the pillar

Yep.
I spoke with Jason Kruk who is working as a rigger for the Aeriosa dance company of Vancouver. He stated that they would be shooting tomorrow and would remove the bolts when they were done. He assured me that they were practicing a "leave no trace" rigging policy.
