Vancouver Island, New Crag

Hello all, I'm setting a new crag on the north end of Vancouver Island. 100m of marble. I will need some people to give my routes a test run by the middle of summer. Currently I have one clean at 12b/c in 4 pitches. I feel that it's a top quality route in an amazing setting. Of course, if you want t...

Help placing glue-ins.

I am in the process of developing a marble cliff in the North Island and would like to pick some brains about placing glue in bolts. If anyone has time for a sit down, I'd appreciate it. 100m, room for at least a dozen multipitch routes and many more single pitch. All grades. I'd like to get a route...

Isla in the sky, wrinkle rock.

This route is pretty fresh feeling with the granite crystals rolling off under foot, so go climb it so it cleans up! Protects well, with bolts at hand when you need them. Seven bolts on pitch two. This crag needs some work before it becomes a destination, but with the potential of the area it's sure...

Found: Key on Black Lanyard at Neat and Cool

Single key on black lanyard, looks like a house key. The person who found it left it on the nearest signpost to Neat and Cool, on the way back to the main parking lot.

Garibaldi Saturday

Heading up Garibaldi via Brohm ridge on Saturday. Might summit, might not. Early start, back in time for a pint.

Re: Mid-week partners

I'm hoping to meet some people who can get out for a quick climb in the evening this week. Also available on weekends. I am super psyched to get everything I can out of the rest of the season! 5.6 to 11c, I don't care, I just want to crank! (in a chilled and low pressure way.)

Re: Ice climbing or ski touring?

Shaping up for a good weekend for ice climbing! But not so good for skiing. Anyone in for an early Saturday start to Marble Canyon? My truck seats 6.

Ice climbing or ski touring?

Anyone up for some ice or snow? I'm generally up for WI4 off the couch. I am new to the area and would like some guidance. I will drive, Marble Canyon, Box Canyon, wherever.
