Camera found Sunday 7th smoke Bluffs

I was one of the last cars to leave the bluffs on sunday and as I rounded a corner a digital camera fell off of my roof.
Pics on it look like an asian group that had been at lynn canyon (hiking) before the smoke bluffs....

The elk lakes is full of rock .. mostly unclimbed. I've wanted to develope it for years but i'm stuck on the west coast (oh well). bring your shoes and sense of adventure. only word of caution is some of the rock is weak and crumbly! Stone hill just over the montana border is also excelent climbing!...

stairway to heaven ... final answer

I've heard several people lately debating weather Stairway to heaven' s final pitches are fully bolted or not all through the broken telephone... can anyone just give me a sure yes or no?

Bolts make the line obvious so i just want to know that if i'm running it out i'm on the right line.

thanks

I've seen shoes left there for the taking before more than once but usually there is a "free" sign ... could there have been one you didn't see? perhaps they took it away in hopes the shoes would still be there when the friend who needed a pair was with them?

Nice Matt!!! I'll be heading out that way next year but before I download it, care to disclose the range of grades in the giude.... i'm one of the unfortunate majority who "may" tick a few 12's and will never get a 13 in my life. I know ... bad attitude, but I'm a realist.

thanks

It's true .... it's not the end of the world to be in there but it is a bit more volitile than what most are used seeing but we are climbers (ish) and should be prepared to deal with that sort of threat. The guide book can't exactly be republished to include that info but that being said, since it's...

You can pick up one of those hand strengthening rings at MEC for about 4$. I use one in the car or on the walk to the climb to get my hands and forearms warmed up... leave it in your climbing bag or take it to work and get a workout anytime of day ... u can't go wrong.
