Re: Sky Pilot - Ascent time from Gondola and Conditions
I did it last week. Conditions were stelar. Snow is not run out but it is a long slop so having an axe to self arrest and save a long hike back up isn't a bad idea.
Time wise I did 4 hours up with some nice breaks in the col and on the summit then 2.5 hours down.

Re: ICE Partners
I've climbed on the coast all my life although I've only climbed out of Squamish for the past two.
Ice is forming but not there yet. I think by mid December we should see some climbs on the Duffy lilloet area open up. By mid January through March is generally the prime season on the coast.

Re: ICE Partners
Richard, I don't have a fixed partner... I kind of just who're myself out to who ever is willing to go get cold/wet with me. I am planning to get out at least once per week during the season along with some trips out to the Rockies. Live in Squamish with a reliable winter friendly vehicle. If intere...

Re: Winter Climbing Partners
You sound as twisted as me! I have spent many winters braving the crappy conditions to get OUTSIDE and climb even if it means some sketchy aid or breaking out the ice tools.
If you want to get up to some suffering I am game!

Re: Mid-week partners
I'm hoping to meet some people who can get out for a quick climb in the evening this week. Also available on weekends. I am super psyched to get everything I can out of the rest of the season! 5.6 to 11c, I don't care, I just want to crank! (in a chilled and low pressure way.) I am availible to cli...

Re: Bouldering in Squamish info
If you are looking for a good deal on a crash pad let me know. A friend left his near new metolius crash pad at my house last summer and has now asked me to sell it. I believe he's looking to sell it for $100. I am sure after your trip you could sell it for the same price assuming you didn't destroy...

FOUND - Crash pad near Base of grand wall.
While out the other day I found a crash pad near the base of the Grand Wall on 12/25/12.
If you are missing one please send me a PM with a description of the pad.
Hopefully I can get this back to its rightful owner.

Re: Grand Wall Bouldering Co-op AGM and 2012/13 Season
I am new-ish to town (been here a year now). Is there anyone I can contact to get some info on the bouldering Co-Op? I would have just crashed the AGM although I am a little late to do that now.

Re: Need climbing partner(s) anytime!
I would be down for climbing with any/all of you. My partner recently left for the season but I am stuck in Squamish for work indefinitely. I am fully equipped for all types of climbing if it be trad, sport, bouldering, aid, ice, alpine... I just really enjoy getting out regardless of it being hard ...

Re: weekdays climbing
I am usually available mid weeks (Thursday/today this week) and I am pretty flexible when it comes to what type of climbing I do. I kinda take what ever I can get.
I also live in Squamish so un planned, impulse climbing is a go for me.
